1. You’ve played at three different programs—Nevada, Colorado State, and Arizona State. That’s a unique journey. What did each stop teach you about yourself, and how did it shape the player you are today?

My journey through Nevada, Colorado State, and Arizona State has been nothing short of a blessing, and I give all the glory to God for guiding every step of the way.
At Nevada, I graduated high school early to enroll at the University early. I was a young guy just grateful for the opportunity. That’s where I really learned how to be a sponge to listen, learn, and soak up knowledge from the older vets and coaches. I was finding my voice, but I knew early on I wanted to lead by example. I made it a point to be the first one in, last one out just grinding every day and trusting the process. I had the honor to learn from guys like Romeo Doubs- Green Bay packers WR, Elijah Cooks- Philadelphia Eagles WR, Cole Turner Washington Commanders TE. Daiyan Henley Chargers LB.
At Colorado State, I grew a lot mentally, physically, and spiritually. I earned my bachelor’s degree there, and it’s also where I started to step into a real leadership role. I was more confident in who I was and what I stood for, and I kept that same work ethic—still first in, last out—but now I was also bringing others with me.
At Arizona State, everything was elevated I saw it as a chance to keep sharpening every part of my game. I earned two master’s degrees there, but more importantly, I deepened my understanding of what it means to lead with consistency, discipline, and faith. I leaned heavily on the Lord through every challenge, and I stayed focused on being the same guy every day—hungry, humble, and always ready to work.
Each stop shaped me into the man and player I am today, and I’m truly grateful for every lesson, every coach, every teammate. It’s been a journey built on faith, hard work, being coachable and a genuine love for the game.

2. Whether in the slot or on special teams, your quickness and vision jump off the tape. What do you consider your biggest strength as a wide receiver entering the NFL?

My quickness and vision are definitely a big part of my game. But I’d say my biggest strength as a wide receiver is my route running. I take pride in creating separation with precision and timing, whether it’s off the line or coming out of my breaks. I understand leverage, coverage tendencies, and how to set up defenders to get open consistently. That, combined with my versatility to contribute both in the slot and on special teams, makes me a valuable asset in an offensive system. I also take a lot of pride in special teams as well and I’m willing to help contribute on all phases of special teams.

That loss taught me how to fight through pain, how to lead with heart, and how to stay grounded through adversity. It gave me perspective—every rep, every practice, every game means something deeper now.
As I begin this new chapter with the Buccaneers, I carry her strength with me. I’m not just playing for myself—I’m playing for Kyra, for my family, and for everyone who’s ever had to overcome something. My message is simple: pain can either break you or build you. I chose to let it build me.

4. Tell us about the moment the Buccaneers reached out. Where were you? What went through your mind? And how did your inner circle react?

When the Buccaneers reached out, I was with my family. In that moment, I felt nothing but gratitude. I’ve always been the underdog, always had to earn everything through hard work and faith. From high school to college, nothing was ever handed to me and this is no different. Getting that call didn’t feel like I made it; it felt like the next opportunity to prove myself all over again. I’m thankful, but I’m not satisfied. I know I still have a lot to show, and I’m ready to prove that I belong in the NFL.

5. You’ve faced tough DBs in the Pac-12 and produced against elite competition. How has that experience prepared you for this next level in Tampa Bay?

Going against elite DBs week in and week out really sharpened my game. It taught me how to adjust on the fly, how to be precise with my routes, and how to compete with confidence. That experience built habits I’m bringing with me to Tampa Bay. I know the competition gets tougher at this level, but I’ve been battle-tested, and I’m ready to keep proving myself.

Off the field, I spend a lot of time connecting with kids from my community, sharing my journey, trying to be a role model, and to lead by example. Football is a big part of my life, but so is using my platform to make a positive impact beyond the game.

Fighting for a roster spot in the NFL means everything to me. I’ve dreamed of playing in the NFL since I was a kid. It’s the ultimate test of everything I’ve worked for, years of grinding, staying disciplined, and betting on myself when the odds were stacked against me. I’ve never been the most hyped or the flashiest, but I’ve always brought consistency, effort, and heart along with being coachable. This opportunity is a blessing, and I don’t take it lightly. I’m embracing the grind. I’ve been an underdog my whole life and proving I belong is something I’ve prepared for every step of the way.

Whether it’s jet sweeps, third-down conversions, or covering kicks, I just want to help the team win. I’m here to bring energy, compete every day, and make an impact however I can.

If I had that opportunity I’d ask about the details they focus on when studying DB’s, what cues they look for pre-snap, and how they adjust mid-route. As a young player, I’m trying to be a sponge right now, soaking up every bit of knowledge I can. Those guys have been doing it at a high level for years, and I’d just want to learn how they approach the mental side of the game and carry themselves like pros day in and day out.
